I loved the location, which was comfortable delighted to stay if travelling to-or-through Whakatane area again. Moreover, it's short walk to close to restaurants, beautiful Whakatane and Ohope Beach and tvs in both rooms Close to supermarkets Kmart. The family apartment was well-equipped with TV, plenty space for family.

The room had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave, and a fridge, and the location was wonderful with a short walk to the town center.

Can praise the staff enough. A lovely young couple that went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Will even make you a free cup of coffee! It really is a lovely comfortable motel to stay in. On a really cold October weekend really enjoyed the spa bath and electric blankets at the end of day. Would diffinately stay again

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The double spa bath was a delightful treat and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The location was ideal, as it was close to town centre and shopping areas, making it easy to get to and from. The attention to detail, from the crisp linen to the delicious breakfast, was exceptional. I would be delighted to stay at this hotel again if I'm ever in the area.
Everything was perfect.

Very friendly, helpful owners. Good sized room, the only one with a king bed, which was because it was also suitable for disabled travellers. Very clean, good choice of teas, coffees etc. Stove top as well as microwave. Good towels and linen.
Shower was designed to be ok for wheelchair use and tended to flood slightly - but owners did point it out to us and offer us alternative room if we preferred. They had allocated this room because we had requested a room with one large bed. Location was a bit far from centre to walk in for dinner - though the riverside walk into town was very pleasant and would be ok on a fine summer's evening.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the real milk provided, which was a nice touch. The location was great, with easy access to town and the beach.
The beds were quite uncomfortable, which made for an unpleasant sleeping experience. the spa bath wasn't as large as we expected, and the shower tended to get water everywhere.
